The current update of IOS 17.0.2 is full of bugs

device- IPAD 9th generation

I have updated it now while studying when I am opening a pdf it always opens from the 1st page, earlier it used open the same page where I used to leave.

Take a screenshot then copy and delete the screenshot and then paste that in the pdf file.. now it is not getting pasted..earlier it used to get copied.

now after the update when I am writing anything in the pdf file …I observe some lag in writing and then it displays

when I am highlighting anything in first stroke of highlighting the texts are not getting highlighted…save or close the file and open it again. Then you may find the highlighted text.

when I am trying to erase something text are not getting erased.i have close the file then open it, things will get erased on pdf.

Now the pencil option is not getting auto minimised on selection of any pencil type and this is irritating.

this update is full of bugs.

if someone is facing then issues then please reply that how I can raise these bugs with apple support

IOS/iPadOS 17;2 is a developer/public beta vetsion.

Beta ( pre-release )software versions are not discussed here. Only officially, final Apple released versions of software can be discussed/troubleshooted here, as not everyone with current Apple devices are running beta ( pre-release softeware.

That stated,

After ANY iOS/iPadOS upgrade/update, you should ALWAYS perform a simple hard reset/forced restart of your Apple mobile device.

For iPad models with a Home button, do a simple hard reset/forced restart of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake/power button simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.

OR

For much newer design iPad models, without a Home button, try the new simple hard reset/forced restart procedure for the new 2018-2022 iPad Pros, 2020/21 iPad Air 4 and 5, the 2021 iPad Mini 6 and the new 2022, 10th gen base models,

1. Press and release the volume button closest to the top Power button

2. Then immediately ( and quickly ) press and release the volume button farthest from the top Power button.

3. Then, press and hold the top single sleep/wake/power button You will see the Slide to Power off button, but keep on holding down the power button until you see the Apple logo, then let it go.

Once you have performed all the steps, wait for a few seconds and your 2018-2022 iPad will boot up completely to the iPad’s Lock screen.

Sorry to hear about your bugs, but I have downloaded it on my iPad Pro 11”, on my iPhone 15 and my partner has an iPad Pro 12” with absolutely no problems at all.

Sometimes you need to check all your settings to determine if anything has changed and sometimes if you are using other apps, they have to be checked with the developer ad well.

Hopefully you can resolve your problems.

M-2 iPad Pro with 2Tb storage I updated to iPad OS 17.0.2 and now my iPad freezes randomly then crashes. Screen freezes up in any application then the screen turns pink and the iPad restarts like a hard reset. Seems to be happening more frequently as time passes first it did it once, then again a few days later now it’s crashing 3-5 times a day.

The current update of IOS 17.0.2 is full of bugs
