USB C on iPhone 15 not working

I had a similar issue. Car Play was not working on KIA Seltose when connected with USB A to USB C cable. Now I tried with boAt type C A 750 cable and it’s working with this cable.

Try to check the charging port on the phone maybe dirt or corrosion is there and may be blocking the signal that the wire is sending to the phone witch can also explains the on and off charging sign

I did find the solution to my charging problem. In the settings for the batteries and charging the option «optimization» was on. When I removed that setting all my chargers and cables work fine.

I love my 15 Pro Max but you have to use the Apple cords or approved cords. I bought a third party from a company brand STATIK. That seems to work on mine well and its a lighted cord as well.

My MacBook and iphone15 cannot be charged anymore and showing Thunderbolt Accessories are not supported. I tried with 3 different cables. Is my Mac problem or iPhone?

Lol, actually good old reset does help! But I agree with others, that's not what we expect from a $800 device in 2024.

it has nothing to do with cables. just restart the phone.

Thanks. This worked for me. It also allowed headphones plugged into USB to work.

Having the exact same issue!! Just now started happening to my phone, usbc to usbc cords are not charging my phone.
