iPhone 15 hot when charging

My iPhone port keeps telling me there’s liquid in there after 8 hours of sleep with my phone in my bed nowhere near water, always over heating when charging even when using normal it gets super hot won’t cool down until you turn it off had this phone for just over a year

Keeping an iPhone in a bed while charging is literally ONE OF THE WORST places one could possibly charge their phone. It can't breath and the heat is kept in. It's no wonder your iPhone is heating up if you are charging it in your bed while you sleep. You REALLY REALLY should NOT do this.

Since it is more common to lose about 1% Battery Health per month of ownership, you should be pleased your battery is performing better than normal. You've owned your phone for nearly 9 months, it would be within the range of normal for you to have lost 9% by now. Yet you've only lost 4%, which is excellent.

I got a new iPhone 15 only 10 days ago and whenever I charge it with the 20w charger it gets abnormally hot. I’m currently on iOS 18.1 and it’s so frustrating because it’s also my first phone. Can someone tell if this a software issue or a device manufacturing malfunction?

Yes, i have observed the same issue. For me it starts cooling after 80% charging.

My iPhone 15 pro max was charging and at 80% a error came up that said it would finish charging after it cooled down so I unplugged it

I am using iPhone 15 plus for 3 days now. I am facing same issue as everybody here. It’s significantly hot (not warm) while charging even after software update and battery optimisation.

I use the 35 watt MacBook Air charger and it gets slightly warm. Should I buy the 20 watt charger?

I've purchased i15 y'day, put it on charge @30%, it had become severe hot just upto 60%. Hence i unplugged, there is some deep bug here apple guys.

Give my money back.

Mine says the same thing that it will continue to change after the phone cools down

after updating the software also facing same issue.

I brought 15 last week and updated to 17.4.1 even though while charging it’s getting heat and normal using time feeling some heat

I just received my iPhone 15 Pro today. All softwares are up-to-date. I don't have a case. The phone is still burning hot. I'm afraid it will be fried during summer time.
