Iphone 15 gets quite warm while charging with apple 20W adapter, on the left side it is difficult to even touch, as soon as it reaches ~75% battery level, it starts cooling down and this problem is not observed after 75% charging (even at 90 or 100%), only till 70-75% phone gets heated.
Did anyone observe the same? software is updated.

I noticed my Iphone 15 overheating when using a USB-C / USB-C cable. I could charge my phone from 1 to 100% in about 90 minutes. However it got very warm, especially early in the charging cycle. That kind of heat can't be good for the battery over time. So, I tried charging with a USB-A / USB-C cable and charged my phone from starting near 0%. No over heating, but much slow charge cycle (about 4 hours to fully charge). That's not a big deal for me since I usually charge my phone over night or plug it in when sitting at my work desk. I'm just thrilled that my phone is no longer heating up while charging (and hopefully the phone battery will thank me by lasting longer).
Can someone tell a remedy to stop overheating of my iPhone 15 plus?
Very much disappointed with this iPhone 15 it keep on geeting heats and the battery backup is worst
So has anyone else been physically burned by their iPhone? I literally was talking on it and it burned my ear to third-degree burns! This is insane

Hi I have the same issue im scared for my battery life, they gotta address this issue... so disappointing after they did pretty well with this phone's battery at first.
I just bought my phone and it is doing the same. I may return. This is not good
My new iphone 15plus is also doing the same …..it becomes very very hot while charging is there any way to cool it down
I have got 20watt charger….it does the same
Same case with my iphone 15. I think Apple 20w fast charging is just a gimmick in fact the hardware are over-strained to compete with the android fast charging phones.
Well i am having the same issue on the iphone 14 the only thing that is different is when the phone hits it say charging on hold due to iphone temparature

Maybe but when I place mine in my car charger 2024 It gets very hot and stops charging. I just bought the iPhone 15 pro 2 weeks ago. It’s an issue with the phone.
Still am suffering the overheating issue. Iam gonna switch to android. Otherwise my iPhone will blast. Thankyou apple for the great update support for overheating issue.
I have the same issue with iphone 14 and car charger
I experience this quite a lot. And my battery life is now down to 96%. I've had my phone since Feb 2024 only.
