iPhone iOS 17 phone call issues

Since I upgrade to iOS 17 I am unable to make calls with my phone dialler (only with saved contacts), unable to search my contacts and calls coming in from numbers that are not in my contacts don’t ring. I’ve spent 2 hours on the phone with Apple with no fix. Just updated to iOS 17.0.3 and still the same. I have an iPhone 14 pro max.

Apple have tried to call me back but I am unable to add them as a contact so it doesn’t tell me they are calling (it doesn’t even tell you if you are on the phone!)

my husband bought a new iPhone 15 pro max and has the same issues. If anything his is worse.

anyone else having issues? For us both to have them it can’t just be us?

I’m having the same problem. Start from update iOS 17.4.1. I spoken with customer support but the problem remains

I am having the same issue. I will not download any more betas until iOS 18.
