Laptop restarts post a screeching sound

So, suddenly my laptop restarted after making a screeching sound. It is working fine right now, but, should I be worried?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.1

If the issues does not persist you should not be worried. If it happens again, you might want to check your computers hardware

Worrying or not worrying will get you the same eventual outcome.

Until something actually breaks, there's nothing to do. Apple does not do preventive maintenance.
