SG*OriginalPlus subscription charge? - Apple Pay Wallet

I received an emailed receipt for £29.99 from SG Original Plus for a subscription i never ordered. my current account was debited £29.99. the transaction appears in my apple pay wallet but I have no idea how it happened. Does anyone have any suggestions? Somehow, this company had my email address, and the receipt they sent me by email specified that I had purchased a subscription for one month - with a start and end date. I have no idea where this all came from. I didn't seek out this company - I have no interest or knowledge in or of them, and I never gave any personal details to them at all - or purchase instructions. However, according to the payment history in my Apple Wallet, I payed £29.99 to them at 12.59 on 5th Oct but I wasn't even using my phone at this time. What is going on?

Yes there’s proof. My back statement. And my Apple phone does not contain any subscriptions none at all. It happened no then one person. The same amount the same company.

is everyone making the same mistake and the company is taking the same amount for everyone?

of you Google the company’s name you can’t find it. Clearly is a scam. Sg*originalplus

I have read a post of 2 more people complaining the same thing, same amount taken from their Apple wallet

this is the proof

I have had the same issue with my nationwide credit card, following what i thought was identity confirmation, originally tracked at 0.00 then a few days later €29.99 (September) was debited on my card. Called Nationwide and cancelled by card, but they managed to take another €29.99 in October. Called nationwide again to understand how they have managed to take money again and now blocked the merchant and raised a dispute on the transaction. Very frustrating!

The same thing has happened to me, They have tried 4 times to take payment, I’ve been researching it’s something to do with downloading a parking app. Possibly Ring go parking app, this made sense to me as I had a hospital appt a few weeks ago and had to download, or tried to download the parking app, instead I managed to download some steaming app, deleted straight away but since then I have had 4 payments declined, I have tried emailing them at support@sgoriginalplus.com but no reply.

I have just suffered the same experience. Yesterday (10th Nov 23) I see that £29.99 is pending to be taken from my bank account after the weekend. I see the transaction in my Apple wallet record, taken by SG*ORIGINALPLUS, LONDON, GB. I didn't knowingly authorise this transaction. Looking back into my records and from my memory the only questionable transaction was when trying to sort out parking through the Ringo website and app. I was unsuccessful with the website but eventually successful after downloading the app. Somehow I think this company has hung onto the Ringo website and/or app and, if not fraudulently, certainly knowingly and successfully duped me (and others) into agreeing unknowingly to this charge. Bank has blocked any further payments but I need to somehow contact this company to request a refund. This has nothing to do with being in or calling (or receiving calls from) Singapore or having Apple TV. This is simply an unscrupulous company trying to hoodwink people into paying for nothing. My challenge now is to get my £29.99 back from a company that is difficult (if not impossible) to find and communicate with.

Have just had an email from this company about my monthly subscription, rang my bank to cancel my card , they had taken two months payment from me , I have never heard of them till today , my bank said the payments were via Applepay but Apple say not … hopefully will get the money back , the transaction was pending but couldn’t be cancelled … have taken my card off Apple Pay and not going to put the new one on my phone but perhaps that’s a bit extreme
