Not locking when I press side bar or lay it down. My husband can pick it up and open it. Have reset passcode reset Face ID and problem still persists
Thanks for the reply. I checked and I had it on the 30 second setting. My husband can still open it with out the password. Now what?

You mean without the passcode?
Seems impossible to me.
Change your Passcode -> Use a passcode with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Change your Apple ID password -> Change your Apple ID password - Apple Support
Then wait longer then 30 seconds, so that you are sure your iPhone is turn off.
Get support from Apple directly -> Get Support or call Apple in your region see -> Contact Apple for support and service or check -> here for more support and assistance.
Tried changing passcode on iPhone. Problems still persists
Set Auto-Lock to 30 seconds (go to Settings -> Display & Brightness -> Auto-Lock).
Then you need your passcode to unlock your iPhone.
