iPhone 15 charging with MagSafe charges for about a minute then stops charging

I may have the same issue or related. I’ve noticed that when using the MAgsafe charger it charges 6 to 8 % less than with using the USB C connection to charge my IPhone 15 MAx. This is very consistent drop every time using the MAgsafe. I have my iPhone Charging Optimization set to charge to 80%.

Since I have wireless CarPlay on my 2021 Corvette, I've had issues with pairing, too. Several times I've had to re-pair it to the car. I've noted that this issue has been reported by others, too. I did a hard reboot as you suggested last week and the CarPlay issues still continue. I have done the hard reset, per your suggestion, again and I'll see what gives. I do have a case on the iPhone and it is MagSafe compatible. I'm in the airline business and travel a lot so I need a protective case.

Have you been in contact with Apple regarding this issue? I am having the same problem.

I am having the same issue. MagSafe charging is not functional with my brand new iPhone 15 Pro Max. I set it in the charger, it charges up maybe 5%, then it stops charging.

See my fix I use a case too and can still use it.

Same issue with my iPhone 15 but this fix did not correct the issue
