Can we make this the MegaThread for iPhone 15 users NOT able to charge their device anymore using MagSafe/Wireless Charging?

Currently, I have a pending ticket with Apple Support regarding this issue but to Apple’s knowledge, they’ve only received one report about this.

I see several posts on here regarding this issue dating back a few weeks ago with no resolution.

Creating a MegaThread for Apple Support will be a long shot since Apple really doesn’t use the Discussions website when handling tickets but maybe it’ll route other users experiencing this issue, to the proper channels of reporting it so Apple Support can have a collection of reports regarding this instead of the one report they currently have.

Found this fix after experiencing the same issue and it worked!

How to fix it

The steps are easy and painless. Just keep in mind that you need to do them in quick succession.

With your iPhone unlocked, quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
Then immediately after, press and release the Volume Down button.
Now press and hold the side / power button until the screen turns off and the Apple logo appears.
Release the button and let your iPhone boot up.

Now, try that same MagSafe charger that was acting up. See if it starts charging, and make sure it continues to charge after a few minutes. If it does, you should be in the clear. Otherwise, it may be time to consult Apple customer support.
