My Series 8 watch upgrade to WatchOS 10.1 this morning and now my watch battery drains in 2 hours or so. What is the fix for this?

Why the heck should we have to go through trying to erase, unpair etc… when this issue is clearly a software problem?
my Ultra is draining SO fast. Doesn’t last 7 hours now!
Apple creates this nonsense yet wants users to jump through hoops? No…. Fix the problem via an update!!
I will post on macrumors forum now
On the other hand my Series 4 with 81% battery health is still at 96% charge after 4 hours.
I see your post. I also don’t agree with you. Same thing people were saying with 10.1.1. So. No. Simple no. No one knows what is happening
Mine too.
Apple has addressed the problem in watchOS 10.1.1 released a few days ago.
Thanks, that worked! (But it should not have changed).
Cool fix, but I've never had "always on" and it still drains pretty fast. Hoping there is something else I can do with my lowly SE.
I'm having same problem on my SE watch. Coincident with last big iOS update for me, as best I can tell.
