In some applications the Volume Buttons on my iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 17.1 just don't respond. I have to adjust the volume through control center. Restarting the phone fixes it temporarily and so does closing the app and reopening sometimes.
Any permanant fixes?

I too have a new iPhone 15 Pro Max. I’ve been having probs with the volume not working at times, as if it’s on mute, but it’s not. So I just went to settings n realized that Bluetooth is connected to my ear buds, which I haven’t used n days. I thought they wud disconnect when I put them back n the case. But I just recently started using ear buds so I’m still learning. Apparently I need to go to Settings n disconnect when I’m finished using them bcuz that fixed my volume probs.
The only solution to fix the problem with the volume was to send my new iphone to the Apple service Andrei they changed the lateral case which contains all side buttons. The problem was hardware not software!!!
Was told by Apple Support to take it to a repair center. Horrible since it is a new phone🤷🏼♂️
Hmmm, have you restarted the iphone? Maybe a factory reset will fix it, but I would reccomend taking it to the genius bar.

What you should have done was dealt with it during the 14-day return period. But, as that ship has sailed, contact Apple to arrange for warranty services:

Just got my iPhone 15 pro max. It’s been a train wreck!!! Buttons don’t work half the time, keyboard is a mess cuz you have to hit the keys multiple times, can’t enlarge photos!!! I miss my iPhone 11!!!

If you bought it from Apple, you have 14 days to return it. If it doesn't work correctly, why wouldn't you do that?
Hello, has anyone figured this out? IPhone 15 pro Max, happened since day one. At first I thought it only did it with do not disturb on but now that's not the case. Snapchat has been my biggest issue app. But that's only because it's my most used app. This is not a hardware issue, it's not a case issue, I didn't even have a case for a while, this is a software issue.
Sent my Iphone to Apple service centre for troubleshoot on 4th Mar. After few hour they call me to inform that they going the whole inner part except camera. Estimate time to complete + order part from singapore = 1 week. Let see after they done with it.
Thanks for the suggestion but I'm trying to adjust the media volume. The option you're recommending I check only affects ringtone and alerts volume.
