WhatsApp Lagging on iPhone 15 Pro Max

I have the same problem. I moved from an Android Device to the iPhone 15 pro and now WhatsApp is lagging and it takes a few seconds for every message to be send.

Has anyone found a solution for this problem? Apple Support said it is a WhatsApp problem and they can't help me.

I recently moved from android to iPhone 15 pro and I have this problem since I switched on my phone. WhatsApp lags for 1-2 minutes it says connecting every time I launch WhatsApp. On the other hand I don't get constant notifications of people trying to communicate with me although I have background refresh and all settings switched on. I even reset network settings, privacy settings without luck. Its not a whatsapp problem. Many people on the internet are having this issue. Note that I have active whatsapp groups chatting continuously but my old oneplus 6 handled it smoothly.

To all iphoners out there, how can we troubleshoot or see why whatsapp doesnt download chats immediately? Any tools or apps to trace or debug this. thank you.

I am iphone 15 plus owner and I am also facing same issue. Look like WhatsApp app is not refreshing in background even if we have make background refresh ON.

I never experienced in android phone.

This is really shame to iphone developer that they don’t fix this fix.

I am sure other people also facing this issue. Please come up and share your feedback.

It ist horrible. I tried everything, new install, 10 times deleting the apps (whatsapp and facebook is the same horrible lagging. also some other apps. clean install did even not work. my antique samsung s 8 is much smoother than the iphone 15 pro max. apple support can not help, the only idea is the cleaninstall (which does not change anything). well, i think i wait for 17.2. if there is no change, i will give back the phone (no exchange, maybe iphone 16 will be a better product.

I am using iphone 14 pro and its been 1 year now , my whats app is getting lag and so slow dont know what happen i am all updated at my system update

any idea if apple or whatsapp is working on solving this problem

Iphone15 pro having same WhatsApp issues lagging a lot as we are not able to forward any message it takes lot of time to forward

So all along I thought my phone was the issue, I upgraded from xs max to iPhone 13 Pro Max unfortunately the issue was still the same, I would take hours before receiving and sending messages

Issue is persistent on iPhone 15 Pro Max as well… tried to restore chat from iCloud backup but still it is going on…

start by talking to whatsapp support or looking at their help site.

Latest WA Business codebase is trash. Especially when having upwards of 50k conversations. Seems those "developers" at Meta skipped stress-test day.

It takes over 1 minute to load conversations on iPhone 15 Pro.

This is also partly Apple to blame, for not supporting RCS messaging from day 0. They gave Meta way too much undeserved power. Thankfully:

Same issue here, I had iphone long back than I shifted to Android now I planned to shift back and it looks like I made a big mistake

My iPhone 15 pro max also have same issues, then I try to turn on Airplane mode and then turn it of while on whatsApp screen and it’s work!!!

because im suffering my iphone xr was runnig the app so smoothly I tried contacting whatsapp and they said
