WhatsApp Lagging on iPhone 15 Pro Max

Hey guys, I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max with the latest software update and I am experiencing severe lag on my WhatsApp Business app. I am in a lot of groups so it does take time to load but it should not lag. I had an android phone before this and I never experienced this. iPhones have one of the best chipsets and still this is an issue. Is there any recommendations or any sort of fix for this. Thank you!

So all along I thought my phone was the issue, I upgraded from xs max to iPhone 13 Pro Max unfortunately the issue was still the same, I would take hours before receiving and sending messages
