Custom Domain will now only send messages via iCloud/browser

On my Mac, if I select my custom domain name to send from, I get the error message:

"The server response was: <6.99.9.51.dyn.plus.net[51.9.99.6]>: Client host rejected: Access denied"

However, I can send via iCloud in Safari and my iPads are both happy to send from the custom domain. It's driving me nuts having to reach for another machine every time I want to send mail from that domain.

Any ideas?

hmmm this is interesting, the email notification of your reply indicated you had said this:

"iCloud should not send email as being from your custom server; instead you should setup a mail account to send outgoing mail from your custom domain via your ISP's mail server."

Which of course is completely incorrect if you link your domain (or buy it through Cloudflare/Apple which I did), to configure with Apple Mail. This worked for quite some time and still works with my iOS devices, yet, my Mac Studio throws up a message as outlined above. The domain is linked to my primary AppleID and is listed within my iCloud settings (along with the email address I'm trying to send from).
