I bought a book to be read in Apple Books on my Macbook air m2. It goes blank and needs to be "reloaded" intermittently. Sometimes it re-displays the page when the mouse moves, other times I have to hit a "reload" button. Sometimes it returns an error on reload and I need to stop and restart the Books app.
The kindle app has no such glitches.
What is causing this and is there a fix?

I only have one. I tend to use the kindle app but the book I wanted was not available on Amazon so I found it in Apple Books. Not sure I would do this again if they have defective books.
Honestly it seems more like an app bug than a book format problem since the app recovers eventually or after restart with the same content.
Does anyone know how to re-acquire the book? When the error occurs the app tells me it is reloading as it is during the error-blanking.

Download a free book or two and see if they behave the same way.
If it were a general app problem, there would probably be a lot more people complaining here about it.

When the error occures it says, "problem repeatedly occurred, reloading book" The Book was bought from Apple in the bookstore.
Is it just one book where this occurs? If so, it could be defective.
