How to bypass the passcode on an iPhone?

There is really only one way to get in a phone if you have forgotten the passcode and that is to erase it using a computer and then restore it from backup after you get back in. There is no bypass for a forgotten passcode.

Assuming you have backed up your iPhone, you won't lose data. If you haven't backed up your iPhone, it's too late now and your data will be gone.

If you forget your iPhone password, you can unlock it in many ways, but unlock it without data loss, this is unlikely, cuz this is how Apple designed their product, you can't unlock it without data loss even if you ask Apple support for help.

Still, if you have a backup, you can unlock it and then restore the data back to your iPhone.

You cannot bypass the passcode once it is setup to be used. What you can do is reset the passcode. In the process of resetting the passcode, all your data, on the iPhone, will be deleted. Once the password has been reset, then you can restore your iPhone from a backup file that you may have created on iClod or on a computer. Detailed response below.

You can use iTunes or iCloud, but there are better methods. Next, l'l show you some methods:

Unlock iPhone using "Find My":

On another device or computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple lD.

Click on "Find My".

Select your iPhone from the device list.

Click "Erase iPhone" and confirm. You'l need to enter your Apple ID password to confirm.

Once the erase process is complete, your iPhone will no longer be associated with your Apple lD, and the lock screen password will be removed.

Reset iPhone using iTunes:

Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable and open iTunes.

Then you need to put your iPhone into recovery mode.

I would be able to back it up if I could enter my password, but I can't enter it because of the screen. It's so out of date. I think the last backup was in February :( The phone can be turned on, I need to buy more storage because I think I have it set to automatically backup to the cloud. It hasn't been able to do that for a while because I've been out of storage space for so long. Maybe that could help? Would that help it update to the cloud instead of going through itunes?
