I'm so sad about what the ios 17 update has done to my iPhone 13, which was previously working perfectly. It now randomly slows to a crawl, apps start crashing, especially the camera app which now tends to crash as soon as I hit the button to take a photo. My quick and dirty workaround for this is to do a screenshot instead of hitting the "take photo" button. Safari now gives multiple "a problem repeatedly occurred when loading this webpage" errors. Chrome is no better. Every so often the screen goes black and a little white spinner appears. If someone texts me while this is happening, I don't get the text (and it never arrives, even after rebooting the phone). During the night it often starts to make that "beep" sound every minute or so that normally indicates that you have plugged in a charger, and I have to reboot the phone to stop this. I really wish I could go back down to ios16 but this is impossible. I'm assuming that what I will need to do is to get a new phone, which I can't help thinking may be Apple's plan.

I am with you too bro my mom’s iPhone 12 Pro Max and my iPhone 11 have been having severe battery draining issues and our phones are brand new with 100% battery health (we do not use our phones that much) after the update my phone will be at 77% and then go off and come on at 10% or not come on at all it’s frustrating and we really need a fix

Same here… My iPhone 11 S was working fine until the recent update,

and now I am having a whole assortment of issues with texting androids, sending pictures, and calling…and

people telling me about messages that I never received… I have lost money because of these messages…

it just goes in and out it will be fine and then for hours I won’t be able to do anything and just have to wait…??

My GPS and other apps will work when I’m driving and then all of a sudden they just won’t…. then it tells me to connect Wi-Fi in order to make work??

meanwhile, I’m going 65 miles an hour trying to figure out what exit to take….??? WTF apple??!

as a lifelong Apple user, I can say that if this problem isn’t remedied soon, and I have to get a new phone, I will not be buying another iPhone.

Just bought a new iPad 10.9 iPad, A14 Bionic Processor, iPadOS, WiFi, Silver.

Setup went well until Software Update iPadOS 17.2 was installed. Now no connectivity to the Internet and cannot complete the download of by Backup from the iCloud. ????????

Found this site and realise this problem has been known about since December 2023. Surely apple providers must be aware of this problem from their cusrtomers and are complaining to APPLE. We need a fix NOW.

THIS FIX WORKED .

my iPhone 14 Pro Max was frozen. Nothing worked. I couldn’t turn it off, or reset. I tried all the reset options.

I noticed a few day before stopped it wasn’t syncing photos.

FIX. 1. If settings works > [our name] > ICloud. Than Tap Private Relay > Make sure it’s Turned OFF.

2. put iPhone in Airplane mode> wait a few minutes > than try Turning Off Cell.

I was shocked my turned off immediately . I waited 5 minutes than turned on. It worked my screen lite up with tons of iMessage, & calls I’d missed.

Hope this works for you !

FYI: if your Private Relay is already off. Go to settings > General > scroll to VPN & Device Management

If your really luck just put it Airplane for a few minutes & try turning off cell

I'm experiencing the same. My iphone 14 pro max was just released after having been repaired by the service center under its warranty. 5 days after receiving the unit, the phone can no longer connect to my service provider. I have tried resetting and restarting the unit but nothing changed.

How did yours get fixed?

Following issues I am facing with 17.2.1 update:

1) select photo in library n share click on WhatsApp/other app doesn’t respond

2) Select Photos and share in mail, while click on send icon, option was shown previously for small, medium n large attachment, but presently it’s showing only Large option

any solution for above issues, since I am facing lots of inconvenience

my phone force updated to IOS 17.2.1 overnight. I woke up to the black screen of death. Phone on and making sounds with a black screen. After trying force a restart on the phone about 8 times, it finally came on. Very frustrating. It also put extra useless apps on my phone. If I needed a journal app, I would have downloaded one myself. I can’t stand when they add apps on my device with the updates. Always messing stuff up.

Will they fix those cellular network connective problems WiFi problems etc in iOS 17.3 when it come out?
it goes from 3 to 4 bars sometimes it goes from 4 bars to 3 bars sometimes disconnects for 10 -30 seconds then reconnects

That is a symptom of a corrupt VPN profile, so if you use VPN go to Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN and delete the VPN profile.

auto Update last night to 17.2.1.

can’t use data from my provider. I can still call out but unless I’m connected to a wifi server can’t get online. What is going on with you Apple? 17.1 update has been a mess since you released it. So many glitches it’s like a bed bug infestation. Instead of new updates fixing things its making things worse with each new version. Get your act together before releasing these bug infested updates.

This is an issue with the carriers, all of them! Yes it’s been since iOS 17.2.1 but I called and yelled at my carrier after they said I was at high usage when I’d only used 1.4 gb. After the call I called to switch back to my old carrier, mint mobile, and they emailed a link to install an eSIM card so no waiting for one to arrive and my phones been working perfectly ever since. My daughter called her carrier who was diff than mine(hers was Verizon and mine was att). She also switched back to mint mobile and hers has also been working fine. I had the problem of it randomly stopping me from making or getting calls and texts to no data connectivity since beginning of December when I got the iOS 17.2.1 This is a known issue no one is fixing
