Any recommended Virus removal apps to install for a MacPro or solution to get rid of this virus

Hi, so I got this annoying virus on my laptop after downloading Pngs from the internet. Now even after closing Safari and restarting I get this pop up that keep up coming on the side on my screen. It has the symbol of the settings icon along with statements like you laptop is danger or there is a virus. It hasn't disrupted anything else so far apart from the annoying pop-ups notifications. Anyone know how to get rid of this or any virus cleaners that will?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.6

all known to cause issues on the macOS

Third party AntiVirus is not recommended— it typically does nothing but add issues to the macOS and competes directly with Apple’s own built in security:

It's nothing but a scam.

A site you visited has given itself permission to send push notifications. Everything you're seeing is nothing but a scam.

Open Safari's preferences. Click on the Websites tab and then scroll down to Notifications. Clear any entries in the right hand window. You might find something similar in the Pop-up Windows heading below that. Block any you don't recognize.

Then if you want, uncheck the box on the right, as shown below here.

I personally can't think of any reason why I would ever want any website to push notices to me.

From MacOS 11 Big Sur onward, the system is on a Separate, crypto-locked System Volume, which is not writeable using ordinary means. Any unauthorized differences that appear to the crypto-locked volume are quickly detected and you are alerted.

So you could store just about every malware known to mankind on your Mac, and your Mac would not get infected spontaneously. Scanning for virus-like patterns might make you feel a little better now, but non-stop scanning is outdated nonsense, and a tremendous waste of resources.

Nothing can become Executable Unless/Until you supply your Admin password to "make it so".

At that moment, the candidate to become executable WILL be scanned for virus patterns Apple keeps frequently updated, provided you allow:
