I have an Apple TV HD, with the old style touch screen apple remote. Recently, Paramount Plus has not been able to allow me to fast forward or rewind TV shows. In fact, the entire progress bar is now blank, with a notation saying 'live' on the left side, and 10 second rewind. This wouldn't be so bad, if the show didn't restart after I hit pause. As it is, the app is nearly unusable.
287 people say me too and this has been going on since January. What’s the fix ?? Delete and re install did not work

Well at least you got a reply from Apple. As stated, your issue is with Paramount, so they are the only company that will be able to provide any information or a solution to your problem. Not sure what you thought Apple was going to do. The real question is, what did Paramount say? You always have the choice to cancel any service you are not happy with.
Same thing here. Only works if I stream from my phone or I don’t go forward or skip, otherwise plays from the beginning and displays live in the corner. Also tried reinstalling the app etc.
Why is the an apple problem? Seems like it's something with the App.
I’m watching Mayor of Kingstown and it is not live, however the display when paused shows LIVE in red and the time reads, 22.17 and doesn’t seem to move like most shows do.
I AM able to use the voice assistant on my phone to pause so thank you to whoever suggested that!
Same with EVIL MAYOR KINGSTOWN ..seems to be with current shows airing ..which that was not an issue before on other apps ..the point in paying for add free no commercials etc is to be able to pause then continue where u left off or rewind if u missed something forward after u checked something ..I really don’t. Know why they would program it like this 😡😤 even when u go to the let’s say app for showtime or other ones u have through paramount plus it’s doing this with the current airing shows ..ITS LIKE we cancel direct tv or having those equipment from cable companies where u can record your shows and forward past the commercials ..we switched to streaming to pay more to have no comedians pause rewind ff and now we can’t what’s the point the. U know ..bcz it sure isn’t cheaper anymore !

That is not an issue that Apple will be able to resolve. Paramount uses their own app on their own service, so any resolution will have to come from them. The only thing you would be able to do is deleted the app and install it again. This also involves signing you out of their service and you will need to sign back in. In some cases this can resolve a bug in their app or a problem with your account on the service. This is usually the first troubleshooting step that a third party company will have you do.

Are you watching one of the live channels?
Paramount+ includes access to live channels, showtime east and west feed, local cbs channel.
You will not be able to fast forward on those.
I tried deleting and reinstalling and nothing works. Will Apple ever resolve this issue???
