I have an Apple TV HD, with the old style touch screen apple remote. Recently, Paramount Plus has not been able to allow me to fast forward or rewind TV shows. In fact, the entire progress bar is now blank, with a notation saying 'live' on the left side, and 10 second rewind. This wouldn't be so bad, if the show didn't restart after I hit pause. As it is, the app is nearly unusable.
If you’re using the paramount plus app on its own (not via the Apple TV App) first see if it requires a software update, if you have auto update Apps disabled.
Force-quit the Paramount app and Restart Apple TV, then test again
Same with EVIL MAYOR KINGSTOWN ..seems to be with current shows airing ..which that was not an issue before on other apps ..the point in paying for add free no commercials etc is to be able to pause then continue where u left off or rewind if u missed something forward after u checked something ..I really don’t. Know why they would program it like this 😡😤 even when u go to the let’s say app for showtime or other ones u have through paramount plus it’s doing this with the current airing shows ..ITS LIKE we cancel direct tv or having those equipment from cable companies where u can record your shows and forward past the commercials ..we switched to streaming to pay more to have no comedians pause rewind ff and now we can’t what’s the point the. U know ..bcz it sure isn’t cheaper anymore !

Same issues here. AppleTV HD - with new style Apple TV Remote. Unable to fast forward anything in the Paramount app. NO other app is affected.
No live TV involved. Mayor of Kingstown, Criminal Minds Evolution, program goes back to start if you pause. No fast forward or rewind.
287 people say me too and this has been going on since January. What’s the fix ?? Delete and re install did not work
I’m having the same problem. I’ve tried the delete and reinstall to no avail.
This is happening to me as well. Updated and deleted. Trying to watch all stars and the stupid live icon is there and if I try to fwd it restarts.
I tried deleting and reinstalling and nothing works. Will Apple ever resolve this issue???
