Outlook remove device management
I used to work for Company A. Several months ago I left Company A and removed device management from my iPhone 11.
Now I work for Company B. When I try to log into Outlook on my iPhone, Company A's sign-on screen loads and I cannot remove it. There is no option to change the sign-on screen or remove Company A.
I can make some progress putting my phone in airplane mode:
- Airplane mode & wi-fi off
- "Add Work Account"
- Type in Company B's email address
- "Can't Add Account" error, hit ok
- Enable wi-fi, hit "Add Work Account"
- Enter my password for Company B's password, hit "Sign In"
- My email for Company B opens in the background but there is an error pop-up: "Managed Device, Your device is managed by your organization, only a work account can be added."
- Hit "Ok", Company B's email inbox disappears, and now I'm back to the login page for Company A.
When I go to settings > general > VPN & Device Management there is a VPN menu that shows "Not Connected". There is no device management information.
Microsoft Support told me to call company A and have them remove management from my devices. I called company A and they do not have any managed devices under my old user name.
