off load message app on iPad
I want to disable or off load the message app on my iPad, while leaving them on for my computer and phone

Perform all the following:
- Settings > Messages > iMessage = “off”
- On your iPhone: Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding > [this iPad] = “off”
- Delete all messages from your iPad
- On the iPad’s Messages app, press “Edit” in the upper left followed by “Show Recently Deleted” and delete everything there
