Setting Apple Maps as universal default

Seems that quite a few apps default to Google Maps for directions/locations. I would like to default all apps to Apple Maps. Is there a default setting somewhere to do this?

When I select Extensions this is all I get. Do I need to download specific extensions?

I found this for you, which seems it will accomplish what you're looking for:

Here’s how you can open Apple Maps by default on iPhone and iPad.

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and tap Safari.
  3. Tap Extensions.
  4. From the list, select Open in Apple Maps.
  5. Tap the toggle at the top to enable the extension.
  6. Under Permissions, tap All Websites.
  7. Tap Allow.
