Blank screen in Apple TV on my Samsung Smart TV

I have a Samsung Smart TV with the Apple TV app downloaded. I have paid a subscription, the £8.99 left my account on March 5, but when I go to the Apple TV app the screen goes black. All the other apps such as BBCiplayer work fine. Help please

This is what Samsung Support suggests:

What to do if an app is not working on your Samsung TV - Samsung Support

  1. Cold reboot the TV,
  2. Update the TV system software,
  3. Delete and reinstall the misbehaving app (if supported for the app),
  4. Reset the ‘Smart Hub’ (I think like a factory reset for the apps part of the TV).


If you need further assistance after trying those steps, then please contact Apple Support.
