how do I shut off looping audio right after recording in logic pro

I have a Logic Pro livestream template that gets used regularly by multiple people. Somebody turned on a feature in the program that I can't seem to find to turn off. I push R to record, it records fine, but the spacebar to stop the record, and the audio region that has just been recorded on the timeline loops itself automatically. I have to press L to revert to the original audio region I just recorded.

How do I turn that feature off.

Funny thing, I went looking for it last night, and somehow got it turned off, but couldn't figure out how.

Help please.

You have accidentally changed the default Loop setting. Click into the empty Main Window, no Region selected. Then go to the Region Inspector on the left side of the Main Window and uncheck Loop.

You can change the Loop behaiviour for each Region aswell.
