Whatsapp App not linking to Whatsapp Desktop

I have iPhone 13 pro and the latest versions on both the desktop and the phone, and yet.. to nobody`s surprise.. it still doesn`t work. I have been trying for the last week and a half and it still does not work.. I still need some help

good day, have the same issue here, today cannot link my iphone 14 with whatsapp either windows app or web..is really frustrating since i am using this chat for work purposes and has worked perfectly all these years, any solution please?

I recently switched from Android to iPhone and I can't link my iPhone to WhatsApp desktop. It keeps on showing unexpected errors make sure you have a good internet connection I have the same connection on my other devices when I try to link my Android phone it works but when I again try with my iPhone it doesn't work I have good connection latest versions in both devices and still the same issue i need help

I switched from Samsung android Phone to iPhone 15 Pro max and I'm facing the same issue here every time I try to link WhatsApp to my PC, knowing that It was working perfectly with android Samsung phone.

You should release an update very soon to fix this issue.

My iPhone: 15 pro max.

My PC OS: Windows 11 Home.

This did not work bro...It's still showing error. Mine is 11 pro Max though.

This issue is really frustrating, to think that we don't even have an idea if this issue is being worked on by Whatsapp/Apple tech support is even more frustrating.

Is there a way to restore the backup after linking the device? I am thinking of this:

ATTENTION THIS IS NOT THE SOLUTION

1. make a new backup from the iphone itself
2. uninstall and reinstall
3. Not restoring backup
4. Link device in windows app
5. restore backup.

The weakness is that there isno way to restore after the installation.

What if having it restored on iphone, I create a new backup and resintall whataspp? Have anybody done that?

Hi, I just purchased an iPhone 15 (base model) and started experiencing this issue with my WhatsApp desktop when trying to connect WhatsApp from my iPhone.

I was previously using WhatsApp desktop for many years with my Android (Samsung Galaxy S10) and had no issues. I did transfer my WhatsApp chats from my Android to my iPhone, I am not sure if this is causing the issue? My WhatsApp web works fine, it is only the desktop application that is not allowing me connect. I am using Windows 11 and installed WhatsApp from the Microsoft Store (all applications have the latest updates as of today).

Please assist me guys, if anyone knows the solution. I am not sure how to report this problem to WhatsApp and make them aware of this issue.

Having the same issue after switching from Pixel to Iphone 15! Jeeze, this is so frustrating. Considering sending my new Iphone back because I just don't want to deal with this crap (am too dependent on WhatsApp for my work) and I see from this forum that WhatsApp isn't competent enough to solve this even after months of user complaints!!!

I am also having similar issue running now for over a month.

Iphone Pro with Windows 11, WhatsApp does not link at all. But it does link with Android.

yes I have tested with the latest realease 2.2413.1.0 and all is set up and working (Iphone 15 pro and Windows 11 WhatsApp desktop app.

I updated to that version, and the same problem still occurs with my iphone 15 pro

I've tried with the latest version, but still not working with my iPhone 15 plus. I wrote them an email, let´s see what they say.
