Wallet out by one day since Feb 29th (leap year bug?)

Assuming that the date, time, and timezone on your phone are all correct, I’d suspect a flaw in the ticketing software.

Someting as simple as the developer being “sloppy” and simply counting days from 1/1/2024 w/o regard for leap years could do it.

Recommend that you contact the ticket issuing agency for resolution.

This has been driving me mad however good news from LNER this morning.

I got this reply to my tweet

"it's a known issue that is sitting with our external supplier. They have confirmed a fix but it can't be implemented until the next software update which should be around 11 June. "

So hopefully fixed soon!

This is happening to me too. I've tried to troubleshoot but doesn't seem to be any issue with my phone settings.

I'll also contact LNER about this as sounds like it could be an issue with their tickets from the replies here. Hopefully if a few of us do they'll sort it quicker.

I can only imagine the responses you’ve received from LNER’s customer assistance agents. 🙄

Have you compared notes with other passengers; are they experiencing the same behavior ?

This is something I’m also experiencing with LNER. I asked a train manager this week if he had heard about this issue from anyone else and he hadn’t. Thought it was my phone therefore … I’ll push harder with LNER too

It shows that with persistence, sometimes the wheels of a bureaucracy CAN be made to turn.

I’m still having this problem with LNER issued tickets today so still assume it is a live bug. Found this thread when I searched for an answer.
