Itunes Apple Music Windows 11 freezing.

Anytime I try to make a couple changes for Apple Music songs I've added to my library on iTunes it causes the app to freeze. I have to close it out through end task. It also is taking up a bunch of RAM. I have reinstalled from both the store and iTunes website. I reset my computer to factory default for a different windows issue (green screen) and set up as a new PC. I downloaded itunes again through edge and I am having the same issue. It crashes if I am adding songs to my library, changing ratings, adding songs to different playlists, or really anytime I change a couple things quickly. Is there an actual way to solve this? I've look through the help threads and see this has been a common issue for a while. Even saw a thread from 2020.

I had a problem where the app was crashing repeatedly when I opened it (windows 11). I resolved it by running it in compatibility mode.

You can google it if you don't know how, but the upshot is you find the iTunes (or Apple Music) .exe file. Right click > show more options > Properties > Compatibility > Run in this program in compatibility mode for...

Select the one you want from the drop down menu.

Not sure if that will resolve it, but worth a try.

Good luck.
