Issues after updating to iOS 17.4.1

Data connection are not working on Iphone 14 afetr uldate

Just 5G and LTE are available in network and seem it is not able to get data connetction.

Before there was 4G selction possibile

My iOS mail ic loud account is showing every time I have used and cleared remind me on my Mac. There are many emails from months ago that are now there are the bottom, in my in note to remind me of things that I cleared long ago! Please fix

Since this latest update my keyboard shortcuts are not working in messages. As a professional ty is not good enough for thank you. My alarms do not respond to the snooze or turn off buttons without being selected multiple times. I have not tried FaceTime or any of the other apps that require camera access yet, but will next week. Let’s hope it works as I have a meeting on zoom. Apple needs to get this fixed asap.

I have been unable to text in a group text. Just turned off iMessage and was finally able to get something to send. Super annoying. I've been missing out on texts in a group I text daily with family. Looks like it's just a problem with iMessage though so guess I'll just keep that turned off until this update is fixed

Recent 17.4.1 on iPhone 13max pro Opticon Companion 1.3.0 app for hearing aids lost sound from Chrome, voicemail, and YouTube. I can still hear sound through hearing aids for Companion app, voice calls, Spotify, recordings and some other apps. Uninstalled apps, restarts, checked for app updates nothing made a difference. Need a patch for this asap.

Delighted to say that some of the problems just resolved themselves over night.

Calculator is back. Sky Apps back. I can need recieve and send images on text and email.

Facetime video back.

What isnt back is the contacts on WhatsApp. Being able to put dates in my diary and access to some Apps.

I have an appointment at Genius Bar tomorrow so can update on how to fix issues

Has anyone received any relief from the issues caused by this update?? My phone is dropping calls, I can't connect to my carrier's network properly, imessage and facetime not working. I called apple and they told me to wait 24-48 hours and call back if things still weren't working. I think I was just told this to get me off the phone.

The files App crashes the hole phone.

the wake up takes sometimes up to 3 seconds before the screen shows something

the share button or the save to files app crashes all the third party apps and also the messages app.

Several apps that had connection to Bluetooth or microphone no longer do after the update. And now it points me to settings to allow microphone access (Ring app) or for Bluetooth connection (Hatch baby app) but neither apps settings have what is needed and the phone setting menu doesn’t either. Help!

My front camera no longer works after the update and my phone is 3 months old. This is the second time my camera has an issue with my apple phone. Apple products are not holding up for how much they sell it for.

The only thing I’m facing so far with this new update is my data not working. I’m thankful I even got this page up. I never had any issues until this update came along. Usually I’m able to use my phone at one bar of service with 5g, but it’s having trouble with 3 bars with 5g which just ain’t right. Seems like other people are dealing with the same issue as well. If anybody finds out how to potentially fix it that would be awesome thank you.

After updating to 17.4.1 I realize that my face recognition was not working. Upon further investigation I found that my front camera is no longer operational. The rear camera still works. Rebooted the phone several times with the same results. This is obviously a result of this update. From what I'm reading online I'm lucky that this is the only issue that I've discovered so far. I'm hoping that Apple will issue an update correct these measures soon.

For me, contacts are just completely gone. They are gone from phone, WhatsApp does not connects to contacts, there is no more contact slider, facetime does not show contacts, the only thing that works is the contacts app. It didn't happen right away, but almost right away, my contacts disappeared, and I cannot get them back. Any help?

The post update problem I’m experiencing is with my contacts. All contact numbers were changed from iPhone, fax, mobile, etc.. they all now say “phone”. I manually corrected a few, but within a short amount of time they all went back to “Phone”.

NickName changed as well. Address fields all changed to “Address” as well.
