There are various issues on my iPhone since updating to iOS 17.4.1

This new updates seems to have too many bugs, instead of fix. Wi-Fi won’t work. None of the apps open, just keep getting black screen, phone overheating, draining battery faster than charging, can’t access shared iCloud pictures, can not FaceTime. Safari is just blank page. Restarted Wi-Fi, phone, apps, but NOTHING WORKS!!! Can’t surf at all, games are blank too…. Need immediate fix!!!!

This page may be some help (thanks to MrBill3):

If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

And sometimes typing in the issue you're facing to the search box will turn up solutions.

If you can get back into your phone, so to speak, 9to5Mac reported that Apple released a new version of 17.4.1, but it was only available through a computer. On a Mac, plug the phone into the computer, open a Finder window, and select your iPhone in the side bar. If the side panel isn't showing, go to the View menu and click Show Side Bar. On older Macs you may have to use iTunes, but it is similar. On a Windows computer I believe you either open iTunes or the Apple Devices app, but I'm not familiar with that setup.

Anyway, once you have done that, there should be a "page" for your phone. Choose General from the top row, and there will be a Check for Update button. From there you should be able to update your phone the newer version of 17.4.1.

I updated "over the air" to 17.4.1 and didn't see any problems. But when I saw the article I updated again and my phone went through the whole process, which seems to indicate that this is a different update. Since then it has worked fine, as far as I can see.

9to5Mac reports that the build number for the over-the-air update is 21E236, but the one through a computer is 21E237.

Phone 13 updated 17.4.1

Waking up the phone after automatic sleep both the WiFi and Bluetooth are not connected. I lose the ability to use my Widex hearing aids as well as the connection to my car for hands-free use. I have found that I have to power down the phone and restart. Then I have to "pair" my hearing aids, car, and computer again from scratch.

My issue is that every day I have another new issue. First was the alarm clock still going off but not making noise or vibrations, so its not doing its job thanks to yall changing the settings. The next issue is my siri works every other time when i want it to open an app or call someone. Now my contact names aren't showing up in my recent calls or on my face time. And the other new issue of the day is now all of a sudden whatsapp and Facebook Messenger needs new permission to access my microphone from my settings but there is no microphone setting to turn on. So now my very expensive phone is utterly useless when i could have just switched back to android a long time ago and not dealt with any of these issues. Count your days Apple because this is ridiculous

Ever notice whenever there’s an update, some good features disappear and are replaced with bad ones. Twice my phone refuses to alert on incoming text messages. Tried everything both times. Don’t remember what fixed it the first time—something about Bluetooth and the Apple Watch. This time uninstalled the watch and turned Bluetooth off. That didn’t fix it. The only solution that will work for me is to dump all info from the phone into a large hard drive. Of course, Apple won’t let you copy and paste or transfer all your data to another storage device, but I can take screen shots and enter it manually. THEN run over the iPhone with my truck and just continue using my antique Samsung Galaxy Note 5, which has NEVER frustrated me as Apple stuff does. How I regret giving Apple thousands of dollars for enherently designed products built around a platform of planned obsolescence.

I cannot send messages, my phone doesn’t have steady signal, I get cutoff on calls, randomly goes from 2 bars of LTE to no bar to 1x to 2 bars LTE and nothing gets sent or received, receiving messages up to 7 times, and the list goes on! This will be the last Apple product I purchase. I constantly have to walk around my yard to get enough signal to hold a conversation after having to call back 4-5 times to connect back with the other person. I’ve never had issues before, and I used to use my phone for streaming as a hotspot. My parents have androids and the same carrier as me and they have no problems. I cannot even use my wifi calling in my house anymore.

All of this happening to my iPhone and my iPad. Screen wouldn’t unlock after restart, can’t enter pin to unlock as screen takes some of the pin the won’t take the rest. Then when I do get in all the screen is glitching, trying to delete apps when I haven’t asked to do that. One touch of the screen seems to do several functions instead of just scrolling. It worked for a little while after the up date and then goes back to the same problem.
