There's no 'edit' option on my iPad under Wifi settings
I want to see previous WiFi networks my iPad has connected to. Instructions say go to Settings-WiFi-edit. The problem is there is no edit option.

The tags appended to your post suggest that your iPad is running iPadOS 15.
You'll only see the WiFi settings Edit page if your iPad is running iOS/iPadOS 16 or later. This feature, where you can access and edit WiFi network credentials, was not available for iOS/iPadOS 15 or earlier.
