IOS 17.5.1 Problems

I am having similar issues, but in addition my list of airplay devices does not seem to be refreshing. When I remove devices from my network, they stay on my list and when I add new ones, they do not get added. No matter what I do, the list of devices on my AirPlay list never changes and is not accurate.

I don't know when the iOS 17.5.1 downed to my iPhone 15 pro and it start ti shutdown by him self 3 time between maybe 30min and 1h idk the reason why but i'm sure it from the new iOS please app fix this problem soon...

Unlike others, I have an IPad and since the update I cannot log into my Gym's member page since the update. It just keeps saying, "Please wait while we craft your experience" and nothing happens. They use something called "EME login", not sure what that stands for. Have never had this problem before.

I'm havin' a heck of time since the update. I have a 2nd gen SE and ever since the 17.5.1 update, I cannot send text messages... my keyboard works only on the left side and even then it's inconsistently... I also cannot log into app store or apple ID. IDK if my phone needs to be replaced or what... but this is EXTREMELY inconvenient.

My iphone 14 pro max having touch screen issues too, and many times a day i cant make and received calls, im very frustating, also some photos was disapeared from my gallery, this start happening since im updating the ios to 17.5.1

My issues seem to be minor compared to some others.

if I use the countdown timer the remaining time shows as 0:00 on the Lock Screen and after using the timer and exiting the app the timer continues to show (as 0:00) on the Lock Screen.

When listening to a podcast and looking at other podcasts under the Home tab at the same time, sometimes the minimized player won’t enlarge when I pressed on it (it’s just frozen). Also podcast played on Lock Screen doesn’t have a skip back button, only skip forward.

this is such a headache. my issues are equally annoying although slightly different - after updating:

1. most of my apps are greyed out & when I attempt to open they won't because I've "reached my time limit" - but I don't use screen time limits. and when I look at settings, it's not on. (I checked the VPN & that's not activated either)
2. Siri has vanished from Setting menu. Where it used to say "Siri & Search" it now says "Face ID & passcode" ..???
3. Siri has actually vanished altogether. (even tho when I search for it, it says I can find Siri under "Accessibility")
4. when I got in the car, I got this "CarPlay not available. to use CarPlay, enable Siri in the settings on your iPhone" (which is how I discovered that Siri had gone missing ...

anyone having these issues?

I’ve been having similar issues with my IPad! It’s even stopped my Apple Pencil from functioning… apple I gave you a chance and it feels like a stab in the back… should have just stuck with android smh

With the last update my phone wouldn’t stop restarting throughout the day, waiting to see if this is fixed now. I was also having touch screen and voicemail issues where it wouldn’t recognize the touch and my voicemail would say I had voicemails but wouldn’t open the app when I clicked it. Hopefully this update doesn’t cause new problems and fixed the old ones 🤞

All those issues plus more.

Car Play/Bluetooth issues - disconnected/forgot and reconnected and so far so good.

Screen freezes occasionally.

When I swipe down I usually see recent apps but no more. Have to search each time.

When I share something, my recent connections/messages do not show up.

I hope there is a fix soon!

me too plus the touch screen issues gibbo431 described. Irritating on a daily basis! Come on Apple….we’ve paid too much for the phone and the service to have to put up with this nonsense constantly!! 🤬

No service, no wi-fi, cannot connect to work phone hotspot, cannot get anything going when restarting, or resetting network settings. I will get random notifications but cannot get email to load, or be able to view anything

Yeah this update is garbage. No videos load without my AirPods connected. That’s my biggest issue. I also can’t play any vids or have the phone audio up it just hisses and crackles and no sound or vid plays. I hope they fix this soon. Like soon soon. Big disappointment in this update.

I'm having partial touchscreen insensitivity on my iPhone.

It began with one of the the iOS 17 updates on my iPhone SE 3rd Gen (currently on IOS 17.5.1). The touch doesn't register in an area vertically on the iPhone screen with a width of about a centimeter (on the left side of the screen)

it goes away by its own sometimes and sometimes after force restarting. It is unpredictable when it will happen next and has become a major issue with using the phone.

Anyone with similar issues?

Since updating to 17.5.1 some of my apps are glitchy. Some won’t load and others kick me out every time the screen shuts off. Is it a graphics issue? Example: Pinterest feed just showing blank boxes in the app. Opening it in the browser doesn’t change it. Still blank boxes. Not pleased that there isn’t a way to uninstall the update.
