Could you tell what are those touch screen issues? Which model are you using?

I am also having problems since the update - I have two email accounts linked via Mail app and both of them have issues with some emails coming through. It doesn’t appear to be a generic sync issue as it is just some emails and it appears random in respect to senders or time of the day.

I have been having issues with Face ID not recognizing me on and off since this 17.5.1 update. I am on a 14 pro. Not too thrilled with this phone to begin with. My overall battery health declined 12% in the first year owning the phone. A lot had to do with the major 17 iOS update. The Face ID started giving me problems a couple weeks ago. It can work fine for a day then start up again the next day not recognizing me. Having trouble accessing bank apps, student loan apps etc and even those website when this happens. I tried cleaning my screen off, which I didn’t think was the problem to begin with. It’s not that dirty. I tried restarting my phone several times, but it still occurs. I am reading other reports from iPhone users and realizing now it has to be 17.5.1 causing this issue and not a screen with minor finger prints on it. Waiting eagerly for the next update to fix this.

Since update 17.5.1 I am not receiving some phone calls. iPhone XS Max. Mother ring’s my iPhone from her landline and it doesn’t even register on my recent or missed calls list, no sound. My iPhone not ringing. This is a nightmare as I am her carer. Needs fixed ASAP!

Like many others phones, my wife’s screen stopped working. She was just able to take it the an Apple Store to get fixed. They managed to squeeze $279 out of her to fix her screen. Their reasoning for having to fix it was “they found dog hair”. Anyone else get worked over, or attempted to be worked over?

iPhone 14 Pro Max stuck keep goin into recovery mode, shuts down entirely during calls, iTunes music won’t play over speaker, and call drops when using the speaker phone. Ever since the iOS 17.5.1 download

I have some issues after upgrade to IOS 17.5.1 on my Iphone 13, as follow:

- device restart occured insidentally, ussually when I open web or apps with video adverstisement.

- true tone getting disable and auto brightness control also disable

- NFC also getting disable

Please Apple give some bugs fixing on the next IOS. Thanks

Since my iPhone updated to 17.5.1 my phone will ll not connect to the ford pass app ! Which means that I cannot check Tyre pressures, distance to empty ( fuel tank ) and the location of my car ( it is stuck on an area 7 miles away from home )

after the new update 17.5.1 my iPad Air not working properly the internet very slow, the touch screen don’t always work and I lost my pdf in section of books some pdf was very important and I cannot recover. I hope they can fix the problem

Okay, since the update I’m experiencing buttons unresponsive and Apple Pay is NOT working across multiple areas when I attempt to pay. Very strange. I’ve never had issues with Apple Pay. Please release a fix. Also the phone will go into a screensaver mode playing random photos when my phone is turned on its side to landscape. Um.. I don’t want the phone choosing random photos. I’ve got kids and a job. Nobody needs wild/personal photos randomly displaying on their screen while trying to show grandma a cute YouTube puppy video if you get my meaning. Jesus H. Can we get a little help here Apple?

Two identical phones, both updated to 17.5.1. On one phone everything seems fine. On the other phone the messages app and facetime are not working. Can't even access the settings for these applications in settings. Reset network, no change, rebooted the phone, no change. Fix this Apple!

The 17.5.1 update has totally messed up my phone.

• I can no longer send videos via messenger
• I can not get my Garmin watch to connect with the fitness apps, they have been connected forever
• I am missing contacts

I have shutdown my phone several times, that hasn't helped.

This will be my last iphone, when this contract is done I will be switching.

Every iphone update seems to have issues.

This latest update has really messed up phone. Touch screen sometimes works, forget about using WiFi, phone randomly shuts off, have to charge the phone about 4 times a day, podcasts and videos have micro pauses all through. With what we paid for these phones, without getting ANYTHING with them and ports change so have to buy all new, they should work all the time. Time to look at other brands of phones.

Since the new update I cannot receive or send texts to and from android devices which is a big problem for me. I also cannot receive texts from paypal or idMe to verify account access. I took my old iphone 11 in to Verizon to help solve the issue and they could not offer a solution. I then decided to take advantage of a free upgrade and got a free new iphone 15 and hoped that would solve the issue and it did not solve it either. Apple, can you please fix this issue asap!!!???

Reduced battery life

My camera will open, but once I try to take a photo, the screen goes black and the app times out. I have to reboot phone for camera app to function again, and the same issue happens. For someone who videos and takes a ton of photos, this update has aggravated me more than any in the past. I hope it can be resolved soon.
