Hi, my Apple Pencil Pro, recently bought when I purchased my iPad Air M2 13” and Magic Keyboard, got accidentally thrown in the washing machine. As you can imagine, it doesn’t work. I must say that the pencil detaches too easily from the magnet on the iPad, thus gets lost in the bedspread. What do I do?

I use a case with an iPad. Specifically, a case that holds the Pencil in place.
For those with an iPad compatible with Pencil 2nd gen, some of the available cases can hold the Pencil in the proper positioning for charging.
One brand that some locals are using for that is Zugu. There are others.
