Im not sure if its just a new thing in iOs 18 but why is the part where my phone charged this red-ish orange?

The Slow Charger warning indeed is new to iOS 18, so you should probably use a higher Watt charger.
According to Apple, you need a 20W or higher power adapter to fast charge your iPhone 12 and later.

Hi! It happens the same on my iPhone 13 when i use a magsafe charger with a 20w adapter. Its normal? I’m on iOS 18 too (Sorry my english 😖)
That seems silly, according to iPhone 15 Pro - Technical Specifications - Apple Support
All non 16 iPhone models only support 15w magsafe charging, there is no way to go higher on MagSafe chargers.
Before the iOS 18 update the phone was charging fine. Now it takes about 9 hours to fully charge!
This is the case when charging via MagSafe on 15 pro max. Is it not okay for it to ‘slow charge’ or is it just letting me know that it isn’t charging as fast as it can? If you see what I mean
Why would upgrading to iOS18 do this? It happened to me too and seems utterly ridiculous. There has to be an issue with iOS18 because this makes no sense.
So what does this mean?

The color it appears to be will depend on the settings of your phone and the wallpaper color. It's the microphone indicator.
