iOS 18 Disable Video Looping in Photos App?

"Loop videos" doesn't appear in my Settings --> Apps --> Photos --> .

There is something called: "Auto-Play Motion" but that is already *turned off* & still it plays a video loop by default! 🤷‍♀️

Hello~ Please read the last several pages of this thread the answer has been provided and even a helpful graphic to turn off video looping. This was remedied with the introduction of iOS 18.2.

As one user upon this string said, the Apple rep guided him to post here as it is more likely to promote a change.

Apple’s algorithm is more likely to scan these forums than all the recorded phone calls or in-store interactions.

I saw the switch right after the Dec 11 iOS 18.2 update (it may have even been 18.1.1), as did MANY others who posted in this thread. Which is why it was suggested that you read the thread.

It seems that many people are annoyed. They didn't solve it with 18.1, so I reported the problem now, hoping they get it with the next update. Thanks for your comment.
