iPhone 16 Pro Max shipment delayed

I ordered my iphone 16 pro max at 5AM PDT on september 13, initially it was supposed to arrive today, friday september 20. On "my orders", it still says that it´s friday september 20, but when I track it in UPS it says it will arrive on monday. Is there any way I can know for sure when it will arrive? Also, the package is currently 5 hours away from my location.

I preordered mine Sept 16, mine has an estimated delivery of 9-16 Oct. My order has just been sitting at processing for a week, it hasn’t even charged my bank account yet.

So you’re blaming Apple for a phone you ordered, NOT from Apple, but from Verizon? Why you think this is Apple’s fault is a mystery. Your beef should be with Verizon. And if you think Verizon will honestly do better with another manufacturers phone, that too doesn’t make sense. You should be complaining to Verizon, not complaining on an Apple forum. You didn’t buy the phone from Apple.

It really isn't such a minor update, when you consider the only previous iPhone's which will be able to get ANY of the new Apple Intelligence features are iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. That leaves a HUGE number of people out. Plus previous years haven't been what are super up-cycle's as there are millions upon millions still using iPhone 11, 12, 13 and 14, putting them in the perfect spot to upgrade this year.

I am in the same boat AT&T lied said it was shipping on Friday by two different reps. Never did now they said should be by month end. That moved back a week already. AT&T blames Apple and Apple blames AT&T. Simple fix is to actually communicate the truth and wait time for these phones. That would interfere with your marketing hype.


The part is my 13 pro is terrible shape broken port has been for two years and my battery is 77%. Finally was able to upgrade and order but didn’t expect to get a phone that will be dated six weeks.


At this point I wish I would have converted our family to Samsung Phones. This is a **** poor job by Apple and loyalists like me will remember.

Placed my order on 14th sept and it is still not shipped. Delivery date is 8th oct which is next week Tuesday. Tried contacting apple customer support but they are helpless and dont know when the phones going to deliver. This is just absurd on apples end honestly.

Lets hope mine delivers by Tuesday the customer support said it will ship today but didn't ship and when I contacted they said to wait another 2 business days for it to ship and we are sure it will ship. I don't know if I should trust them or not.

Nothing crazy at all. Preorders opened for iPhone 16 models on Friday, September 13th, but you waited until the 17th to place your order? Most 16 Pro Max’s sold out within about an hour from the opening of preorders for people wanting one on Launch day. If you wanted on launch day, you should have gotten online at 5AM Pacific on the 13th to place your order.


According to one article I read, Apple sold more than 37 MILLION iPhone on the first day of preorders going live. It’s simply supply and demand.

Like others have said, I think it's an Apple failure. I own all Apple products and decades of loyal purchases. I pre ordered 2) Pro Max Terabyte phones from Verizon on 9/15 and expected delivery was today 9/30. No update sent. I called Verizon today and they have no ETA for delivery. Then I called the Apple 800 number and they have 1 of the phones 50 miles away and the other she said to just keep checking.


WTF! A Trillion dollar company launches a product and doesn't have at least all pre orders ready on time and doesn't communicate orders with it's customers or vendors.


Birthday commitments broken.
