Issues uploading HEIF pics to Shutterfly app

So it it definitely a Shutterfly App issue. They have to update their app to keep up with Apple. I went to the actual website and started uploading and my pictures uploaded just fine. Guess I will have to do this until Shutterfly fixes the issue.

This may be a problem with uploading large files, which would jive with the screenshot results. When I tried an upload to Google Images, I got an error message that said the file must be smaller than 20MB. I think the error message came from Google, but it's hard to tell where the restrictions come from.

If you can, try uploading smaller images, and see if that's it.

I know this sounds like an elementary solution, and I offer it only as a band-aid for now. I screenshot the photos that didn’t upload to Shutterfly and Shutterfly picked them up that way as screenshots, I guess.

Maybe iOS 19 will have a fix, but for now—that’s a temporary band-aid solution

The same thing has happened to my photos as well. Shutterfly help desk was not any help in resolving the issue

In case it isn't obvious, a screen shot of a photo is not the same quality as the original photo, even for a screen of high quality. As you say, a temporary fix at best.

Why doesn’t Apple get together with Shutterfly and solve this problem soon?
