It feels like the 16 pro drains battery like crazy. Mine has gone from 95% to 81% in 38 minutes of light use and some picture taking. Phone also gets really hot when using the camera!
Anyone else experiencing this?

My 16 pro battery was draining very fast but after disabling siri and search settings and removing whether app widget as suggested here 11 Proven Steps to fix iPhone 16 Pro Battery Drain Issue and following other recommendations too, there was noticeable improvement in battery draining. Note that I didn't turned off raise to wake and push notifications.
It only seems to do so at certain times I haven’t picked up on exactly what it is. It could be causing it, but my first thought is to put it off on some sort of software issue..
The majority of the time though battery is straight
Genius Bar appointment told me that battery is fine !( I didn’t go for that- I went for solution- they couldn’t fix it). Apple support hasn’t been of any use!
They don’t know what they are dealing with.
No point in asking to switch off everything and keep fingers crossed.
There is a genuine apple glitch and all consumers of 16 pro will suffer- unless Apple acknowledges and comes up with a plan!
I don’t know what happened when I was sleeping but I have the same problem here and my phone is brand new.
After 18 hours of use mine is at 80%. So maybe some are good some are bad
Yes it sucks. Now I am thinking why I traded in my iphone 13. It used to click better pictures with rich color tone than 16 pro. Disappointed with this purchase

Im facing the similar issue. it’s supposed to be good but it drains so quickly even my friend’s 15PM with 90% battery health has better charging than my newly bought 16PM with 100% battery health
dude same. can’t use more than 1 app before the battery just drains. really frustrating

I'm surprised that the iPhone 16 charged 12 times a cycle from 100 to 88. Nobody knows what the solution is
I think the problem is with the Cellular Connection. On Wifi it's not so agressive the consumption.
