iPhone 16 pro can’t focus for biometric confirmation for banking apps

Many Apps, not only banking-Apps, have massive problems with FaceID since the upgrade to iOS 18. Same problem e.g. with Miles&More App.

Facing same issue with 16pro max on ABL and UBL apps, have done biometric verification on Jazzcash and easypaisa apps in no time. should i edit camera settings for this?

So it includes banking apps in Pakistan which include fingerprint biometric verification as well as network provides such as Jazz and Telenor and Easypaisa. Mostly everything runs on fingerprint verification.

I’m on the same bus as you all. I have a cheaper andriod phone for such backup incase of any app issues. Such biometrics is so frustrating. Some apps dont use for example Faysal, BOP, Silkbank.

i have Alfalah, HBL, Jazz cash and easypaisa. Not worried for the later two but really hope fix comes soon.

Does not happen with older iphones I think

im trying HBL, Jazz cash and other wallet biometric but my iphone 16pro camera not focusing well and the result verification failed even i have updated ios18 but same i have tried many tricks and also modify the camera setting and worst case HBL only allow biometric via app only no in branch.

I'm having the same issue; my banking apps are not working. I've tried biometrics 50 times on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, but it still doesn't work. I have five bank accounts, and the same issue with all banks

well same happened to me as well. but it only works for general operations like knowing the account balance and access the options. you have to register the finger prints for transactional operations.. still m struggling 😞

Hi all i also bought 16 pro max today and unable to perform biometric verification through camera as it can’t focus please help what to do only ubl did verification successfully rest of the apps r unable to detect fingers 🙏🏻😪

I’m facing the same issue that it never focus for biometric verification. I thought there is an issue with my phone but it seems like that this is happening with everyone out here. What should we do in this situation?

I am also having the same issues. It’s annoying. I can login with any old phone no issues but the iphone 16 pro doesn't seem to focus on the finger prints.

Hey Dear! I’m also facing the same issue on iPhone 16 Pro Max it shows try again the camera is unable to focus on fingerprint when come close to the camera!

Same happening with i think me device 16 Pro Max its just a bug and fix when ios (18.1) new update release (28 October 2024

Did the application opened camera or not for verification after an hour or simply you logged in and went okay?
