iPhone 14 battery stuck at 97% on charge

Just bought iphone 14 and on a first charge battery percentage got stuck at 97, then i restarted the phone and it showed up a full battery 100%, and again on second charge it got stuck at 97%. I turned off the optimised battery charging and it still did not help. Dose this mean something is wrong with the battery or the software my first time using an iPhone and ist just rally annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please try a force reset procedure as shown, this will determine if this is a software issue.

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

If that doesn't rectify your issue, then this is likely a hardware issue in which you should go back to wherever you purchased this new iPhone for a refund and exchange as it could possibly be defective.
