I forgot my new passcode and I already reset iPhone, I lost all my photo and video

Hello, I've run into a bit of a snag with my iPhone 15 pro max —I'm currently locked out because I've completely forgotten my passcode. I've been racking my brain trying to remember the passcode, but no luck so far. I have only one way to reset and sign out my apple id from my phone. Now my phone lost all data, I need to set up everything again. The important thing I lost all my photo, video and files, I’m very sad about that I don’t know how to get it back. I try to back up from my iCloud but, it can get only photo around 4-5 years ago: have another way not only reset iPhone because it will be lost all data. We can back up from iCloud but not at all photo and video.it was my first experience, I lost all photo and video and memories that I collected photo from travel around one year gone. I’m very regretful.

It sounds like you weren't backing up your iPhone and when you forgot your passcode and then restored the phone, the photos weren't in your last backup. If that is the case, your photos are gone and there is nowhere to get them back from. Backups MUST happen before something goes wrong. I not only backup to iCloud every night, I also backup my photos to my computer directly, to Amazon Photos and to Carbonite, a backup service.

If I were to guess, you likely weren't paying for more iCloud storage space. Apple gives you 5GB free. Once you've used that storage, if you don't buy more space in the cloud, your phone no longer backs up to iCloud. So your photos are unfortunately gone.

Your data is not lost if you have a backup either on iCloud or iTunes.

If you see an iPhone or iPad unavailable message or a "Security Lockout" screen

If you forgot your passcode, you can use your Apple ID and password to erase and reset your device without a computer.

Following this process is the only way out if your iPhone is disabled. The steps given in this link will help you reset the passcode -> If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your ...

Regarding your data…

  1. If you have an iCloud or iTunes latest backup, then there is nothing to worry about. If not read more...
  2. You have synced your data to iCloud, then what you will get back is what you have synced to iCloud and uploaded to iCloud Drive; the information that is synced and stored in iCloud are, Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, Mail, Notes, Voice Memosshared photosiCloud Photos*, Health data, call history, and files you store in iCloud Drive. (*-If you have turned on iCloud Photos, your content is automatically stored in iCloud.)
  3. You have imported your Photos and videos to Mac/PC then they are safely residing there on Mac/PC
  4. You have uploaded some of it to Cloud Drives using the Files app (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox, Flickr, box, AmazonDrive, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc). The data remains there.
  5. If you have not backed up or do not have the latest backup, nor imported nor you have synced or uploaded your data to cloud drives prior to the situation that you are in, then I am sorry, all your data is lost.
