Hi, I just rented a movie on Apple TV and when I try to play it it says
You did not buy this item.
You can not re-download this.
I havent downloaded the movie though. Even if I try, I am getting the same message.

Did you verify that the matching Apple Account is used? A mixup of accounts and optional switching between devices could be a cause for inaccessibility.
Does this title show in your recent purchase history?
Please contact the iTunes Store staff for any issues with content rented or bought from the iTunes Store.
There’s also a recent other user with the same error message. It is conceivable that the error is on Apple’s side. Just too much coincidence for my liking.
