How do I erase duplicate photos and junk mail from iPhone for more space?

Erasing them for more space.

Open the Photos app > Scroll down to Utilities, then tap Duplicates > Tap Merge to combine a set of duplicates, then tap Merge [number] Items.

Open the Mail app > In the top left tap Mailboxes > Tap Junk > In the top right tap Select, then in the top left tap Select All and delete.
