My phone is not charging the battery after I updated the software to version 18.2.6. Before the update, everything was working fine. What can I do? If I run out of battery, would my only option be to buy another battery? I have already tried resetting the iPhone and restoring the original settings.

Ive been having similar charging behavior however my iphone 16 pro will show its charging while not plugged in and needs to be plugged in and unplugged several times before detecting a charger

Apple provide 12 months warranty on brand new phones.
I tried the wireless charging at the apple store, but battery is very slow at charging and no longer holds any battery, lasting only a few seconds before shutting down again.
AppleCare+ seems better value now I guess.
