Siri not responding to voice commands on iPhone after iOS 26 update

It’s not working on my SE2 either!! Thank goodness I didn’t update my other phones.. Now my Siri isn’t working!! I heard bad things about the new iOS 26 update.. Now I know why lol!! Bunch of glitches happening.. Siri only works when I type to it..

I’ve tried everything ChatGPT told me to do!! Nothing worked.. There’s a new update!! Maybe that’ll help? Who knows.. 😤

Hi I have the same problem and is getting really annoying, before I had Iphone 12 and siri was working perfect and before that I had Iphone 7 and again amazing fast response, on point. Now I have 16 pro and at the beginning worked fine but from one point Siri didn’t work properly, I say “hey siri” the blue thing appears and then nothing happens. Usually I need timer or to call someone and literally now working I tried everything but is just now working how it used to work, I m disappointed.

I agree it’s an old phone, that’s why I sacrificed on testing the new update on it & not on my 13 or 16 lol! Anyway I bought the phone a couple of Christmases ago, but never opened & started it using until less than 2 years ago. Maximum capacity is 83%

I have a slightly different problem in my iPhone 14 Pro, where post upgrade Siri is only responding, hey Siri and not just siri . I checked all my settings and everything seems to be proper.

Maximum capacity is 78% would a bad battery cause Siri to not work totally randomly though? It worked just fine until I updated my phone
