Everything you are saying is in settings is embedded in something else and cannot be separated out. No VPN. popping out sim didn’t do anything. Have hard started many, many times. It was a horrible update. Just admit it and return it to useable.

OK, I will admit that hundreds of millions of iPhone users updated and have had no issues. The fact that you have had issues is unfortunate, but doesn’t change that. The issues are with your iPhone, not with the update.

Update is incompatible with Mercedes Benz Bluetooth unless very new models. It picks the in car system as AirPods and cannot use phone or listen to podcasts or Bluetooth music from iPhone

That is why you don't see a recommendation here to use any VPN.

is Photos turned on in iCloud Settings on the phone?

iPhone, Settings, [tap your name], iCloud,Photos

If is is then you cant import.

Yes 'Sync this iphone' is same as 'turned on'

No I am not saying you have to sync, just that if you tried to do both you would have a problem.

His screenshot also shows he’s using wifi, probably in the office or house I’m guessing, so wouldn’t the phone prioritise data etc via wifi and only commit to a cell tower when a call is required?

When i hit info on my messages, no “photo” section pops up - ive restarted, ive turned imessage on off, nothing. New iphone 17 here… whats the deal ?!?

BS. The app store wont even open, it will not connect to the internet with very few exceptions.

I do not like iOS 26.1 and believe Apple has really made a big mistake with this update

iPhone 13 since update can’t search messages. I use this for work when I look up a previous job. Nothing appears.
