A lot of issues with iOS 26.1

I have iPhone 12 Pro Max ever since I did update my phone has hard time unlocking and every time try get on internet look things up it freezes on me it’s like my screen locks up I want to undue update

If you still have problems you may have to restore to factory and start again til you find the app or setting that is killing the phone. Obvs you need to have ALL your data in iCloud or similar to do that. Back up as a precaution.

Pay a couple of bucks a month for iCloud storage and do the reset.

Also enjoy the safety of a backup, phones do suddenly fail, esp ecially vintage ones, or get lost. How do you get your photos and docs back then?

After downloading 26.1 it made a number of changes to my phone. Multiple settings changed and have not been able to change back.

The new layouts are childish and were not necessary.

What settings are you referring to that you are unable to change? The current version of iOS is 26.2, so troubleshooting iOS 26.1 in a futile effort.

Apple will not see your post here, that is why the Feedback link has been posted many times for those that want to let Apple know how they feel. Personally, I like the new UI and have't experienced any problems with Settings not being able to be changed. Opinions are irrelevant on a support site, so I would recommend creating a new post describing that problem and include screenshots to help visualize what you are seeing. Since you posted in a forum specifically for iOS 26.1, you are not likely to get many eyes on your post, so update first.

What is the purpose of the old motto if it aint broke, then do not try to fix it? The horse and carriage was a perfectly acceptable mode of transportation, yet here we are with those darn cars and airplanes. Has there ever been a single company or technology that has ever adopted that strategy? If so, you can bet they are no longer in business.

Recently updated and HATE it! When sharing a contact, you cannot include notes. OOOOLLLLDDDD and long deleted texts are showing up in the "Unknown Senders" - the contact isn't even in my list any longer. Tried to send a new text to a contact, and it pulled up an old, deleted text, from 3 months ago to add to. The camera app is HORRIBLE and cumbersome. The format to delete emails has changed and you have a tendency to by fat fingered. Connectivity to various apps is slow or nonresponsive. WHEN DOES THE FIX COME OUT?!?

If you are having an issue with your phone, you should start your own thread explaining what it is rather than adding a cryptic post to a thread that has deginerated into not much more than people venting.

I can’t use Apple Pay after getting the new update. Already checked my settings, enabled double-click but phone only locks after tryna run me through a “demo” for a setting I’ve had on since I bought an iphone. And I can still up it in guided access wit triple-click and lock my phone with 1 so I know the button works.

Yes, as soon as I disable the VPN the Nationwide App allows me in.

Well as far as I know is Safari standard installed on Apple iPhone. So they should have prepared this better and more client friendly. Your response says a lot to me.

I have a migraine disorder and this update is rendering my iPhone useless
