My iPhone 17 Pro Max's lock screen brightness increasing on its own

When I'm at the lock screen and I enter either Siri or the camera sometimes when I lock my phone again and turn it on the screen brightness has increased by itself.

It hasn't changed the brightness in settings but it's noticibly higher brightness to the eye. I have to lock and unlock my phone for it to reset back to what it was set to.

I'm using an iPhone 17 Pro Max on IOS 18.2.
