logic boots up a title bar across the top, but does not load the software.

Logic Pro doesn't run, it just puts up the top pop down bar.

it does not attempt to go through the start up process. To quit the non=functioning software, I must force quit, as quit does nothing. I walked through all of the steps listed by Apple.com to get Logic Pro to function, but to no avail. Help!!!

Okay, here's a list of a few things I would walk through, in order:

• Make sure your OS and Logic software is up to date.

• Reboot the Mac and relaunch Logic.

• Boot the computer in safe mode, launch Logic and see what happens. How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support 

• Uninstall Logic, reboot, download and install a fresh copy.

• Uninstall any anti-virus/cleanup/optimizing/VPN software that you may have installed.
